| Hi! I'm new here. Been in the hobby in general for about 9 years. This seemed like a good place to show my WIPs and terrain. I must say I'm a pretty big fan of basing on CDs. Here a WIP of my first such piece. It's currently almost finished being painted, I'll try and get some more photos soon. This is my entry for the 1" base competition over on Terragenesis that Ashton also entered. Comments and criticism appreciated! | |

| Hey Gmillar!
I'm glad you made it to the TBM Forum! Welcome Welcome.
As I've already mentioned, your 1" bases are freaking awesome. What is that Grey statue thing?
Enjoy your stay | |

It's one of the stone heads from the dwarf fence in Battle for Skull Pass. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat190003&prodId=prod830856I just took some more photos. Still working out the lighting situation so bear with me. Here's the same piece again, almost finished. And here's another similar one, also almost finished. The trophy bit is from an Orc Shaman on Boar. The pile of skulls is from Battle for Skull Pass. Here's another work in progress. It's a little hard to see but there are two corpses in the dirt there. One more. Once again, numerous bits from Battle for Skull Pass. | |

| Wow that came out great. I really like your terrain style. My only comment on the first finished piece is that the ground doesn't look very realistic. It looks in need of some sort of dying vegetation maybe? | |

| WELCOME ABOARD & NICE STUFF! The thingys on the 25mm bases are especially cool & well done. The larger pieces with the metal work could be used either for the WHFB/Mordheim scene or for 40K [multipurposing CAN BE SO economical ]. COOL IDEAS! Your minis are VERY nice looking little suckers. Prepare to be hounded for MORE photos! | |

| Oeh, I really like the atmosphere you're going for! though, you might want to try going in to the heights? gives a lot more playing options, and fun to it... (though, as I currently have 6 playable levels I must confess we mainly stick around to the first 2 / 3 but still the options are available other than that, I really look forward to seeing the rest of it finished! awesome job! | |

| Funny you should mention levels, they're next on my list. I intend to make some proper buildings next, and they will have levels. On that note, does anyone know of some templates for ruined (or not ruined) buildings I can download, so I don't have to worry about measuring and cutting straight? (never one of my strengths ) | |

| You could even make modular buildings, like 4''x4'' rooms and then put them on top. means you can add detail easily and also stack as high as you want. Though your stuff looks great, quite dark as said and alot of death. _________________ | |
