My first house. Oh the memories

This is the first Mordheim/fantasy building I ever made. Even got it
sold on swedish ebay (made enough money to buy toiletpaper.. almost)

LOL! Yeah, selling terrain on ebay is never worth it. But you can buy there.

That is actually pretty nice. The construction looks solid. You could easily improve the painting of the house, by adding more layers. If you e.g. like this building, then you can read how it was painted on my blog.

Anyways, yeah I wasn't too happy about the paintjob, but I sort of got fed up with the house in general and moved on to new daring adventures.

It's funny looking back at early creations. Mine was a small farmhouse built out of an empty cornflakes box, popsicle sticks and "enamel" paint..lol.

For a first house, VERY COOL! I was ALWAYS a GREAT terrrain maker, but humble...a trait I'm very proud of . It's good to see another natural.
The windows, woodwork, & door are REALLY nicely done. You've definitely got potential. I expect to see WORKS of WONDER from you...of course, I'm an idiot .

On the eBay thingy: terrain goes for peanuts or, in your case, toilet tissue. Minis command MUCH MORE $s. In either case, I've found it all gets sucked into the household expenses,

Anyways, thank you for the kind words. But I must admit that this was my co-first building I made. The other one I made at the same time was a WH40K facotory-ruin-thingy made out of cardboard, complete with an Imperial Nuka-Cola Machine. Funny thing is I got more for that one on ebay (or Tradera as it is called here) than the Fantasy house.

We ARE most definitely kindred spirits...you have my condolences.
With the 40K thingy, at least over here, 40K & some of the other quasi-SciFi games seem to be MUCH more popular than HEROIC Fantasy. Indeed, these are strange times.

Except for the paint, mine too. Great house, for first time, though! We should all post pics of our first buildings, and cringe as one.

My first house was a mess was unpainted, unbased cardboard
