Wow, awesome work here! My favorite is of course the outrider + lantern, and the witchhunter on foot painted, fantastic choice of colours, like it. Used to play witchhunters once, sold the figures, but the warband still existst on rooster, and while i am lokkin ´ on your superb converted stuff i want to make some new guys, but as you know, time is of the essence!Wink

You did a fantastic piece of work, esp. the sculpting GS works, brilliant man!

And not to forget: I AM UNWORTHY, again, damn.......Wink, floedebolle

Amazing work, Chair!

Your warband is oozing with character, I love it! The greenstuff work is simply stunning, it's so smooth!

Looking forward to see more stuff painted! Wink

Among all your great conversion the one thing that looks odd to me is the length of the warrior priest's neck. Just looks too long to me.
Yeah, that may need a bit of tweaking. It's also very thin. I'll revisit him soon and see what I can do.

Thanks to all of you for the nice comments. It's all fuel for the fire! There's a painting competition at my LGS this Sunday, so I'm hoping to enter a Mordheim figure. If all goes well I'll have something new to show on Sunday. It's sort of daunting since I haven't even started yet, haha.

Took me a while to drum up the enthusiasm to take some photos, but I did indeed paint something for my LGS's competition. I even managed to net the prize! I think this may be my best painted model to date. He's an Averland Mercenary with a great sword. I spent over two hours on his face alone. Probably close to 10 hours total. Anyways, here she blows:

You may notice he's textured with grit. I had some primer issues and it was a huge pain to paint over! I kept having to scrape off the worst offenders as I went, but as you can see, I didn't get it all Razz

It's a pleasure to look at your minis. It may take long to paint one such model, but think how excellent will look 5, 10 or 15 minis like this one! Smile

Thanks guys! I actually didn't come up with the face technique on my own, but the good news is that means there's a wonderfully in depth tutorial on it I can share with you already! It starts about midway down the 17th page here:
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=250907&page=17
I used elf flesh as my choice for the base color where he mentions picking the color of your choice to add in. Other than that, I just went step by step. Again, thanks for all the kind comments!

I've got a new treat in the works. After a long hiatus I decided to finish up sculpting two Mordheim miniatures I started last Summer. Pics to follow soon!

I feel sick, everything is so good. Your painting looks clean and crisp. The gs and parts choice makes it imposable to decide which miniI like the most. If they were mine and one of them died after a battle I would cry.
Awesome.

Yay for excellently painted miniatures. I love the composition. If anything I feel the grit gives him rough edges and makes him quite at home in our lovely dark setting... Smile

The face may be following somebody else's recipe but YOU did the physical painting and its bloomin' marvellous so kudos.

Thanks guys. I do cry when my minis die, but mainly because I'm a poor sport, hehe.

Sculpted a bit more this morning. He needs to cure a bit, then I think only one or two more sessions and he'll be picture ready Smile

Oh, your greenstuff work is so awesome.

Really fine it adds so naturally to the minis.

I would love to see more painted minis.

Great looking warband. The Witch Hunters themselves are my favorites. I look at those and can only wonder why GW hasn't done something similar themselves yet. Also particularly like the flaggelant with hood and stake.

Thanks guys, I'm gad you like them. I plan on finishing up painting the whole witch hunter war band for this Summer's Modrheim league. It's about time these poor souls saw some paint. Anyways, here's the new witch hunter captain. He's roughly based off of the Warhammer online witch hunter art.

Also, If any of you are interested in seeing some of my Warhammer projects you can find them on these two warseer threads. The first one is a catch all thread for my three main armies, and the second thread is my newest army and is Empire only:
