OK, I procrastinate. I've been reading and doing a little posting on this forum since February. 'Bout time I introduced myself.
I started out playing Games Workshop games with my son about 1996 with 40K Orks with 2nd edition. Added Necrons & Blood Angels before they went to 3rd edition. Then added Dark Eldar. Last I added White Scars.
Played Orks in Gorka-Morka and had a great time until that game died.
I tried Van Sarrs in Necromunda but didn't like it that much.
I have an Orc Blood Bowl team painted up but haven't even played the game once yet. But I will.
I have an Ork army in Battlefleet Gothic but haven't played very many games.
Played Lord of the Rings while the movies were hot. I even built my own Helms Deep (with even 1 picture of it published in the US White Dwarf) but haven't gotten it out in a couple of years.
When 6th edition Fantasy came along I jumped into that game with both feet. I had stayed away from the game until they removed the super magic and super characters (one of my main dislikes). I now have Empire, Orcs & Goblins, Ogre Kingdoms and quite a few Dogs of War (but not enough to field an army yet). Dark Elves are on my painting table but they have to wait because Mordheim figs come first!!!
Mordheim, now there's a game! I've been playing that since it came out. It is my favorite game.
I can't list on my profile my main warband type because I rotate through them all.
I have painted up:
Skaven - Witch Hunters - Undead - Cult of the Possessed - Sisters of Sigmar
Reiklanders - Marrienburgers - Hochland Bandits - Slavers (Many of these models fight for more than one warband.)
and Amazons
And I am currently playing Ghost Pirates in the Sartosa setting.
Mordheim is such a great game that even though I loose more than I win I always have a great time.
Oh, I also love to build terrain!
