However, I think the standard on the back of the one dwarf could be somewhat annoying at times, as it will make entering buildings and moving around inside them rather difficult.

It could be, you're right. I love the Bugman model though and this gives me the chance to paint it up.

You could cut off the standard and replace the pole with thin copper tubing (check an RC car hobby shop) drill a hole in the backpack and make it removable.
