Undead Warband

well I have joined this forum after foot bullied me into doing a warband I most likely wont get much of a chance to play but it will be a nice modelling project and with me having a vampire counts force for fantasy the models can be used with that.

so on with the first model, after foot showed me his witch hunter captain earlier today i said that i would have a crack at making a zombie version, here he is so far:






got him staggering forward dragging his mace behind him, i'm pretty happy with him so far tho he is still very WIP the coat needs a lot of work.

I have also got a vampire countess i have been converting from an eldar guardian, i'll take pics of her so far later on.
got some ideas for other models for this warband but if any of you guys have any suggestions shoot away

don't know if shes a bit to heavily armoured for mordheim, as she was orginally destined for my vampire counts force lol

Looks pretty professional to moi. VERY COOL STUFF! The Zombie Captain is a REALLY fine bit of conversion work as is the Vampiress. The Nazi Chick ROCKS! IMPRESSIVELY DONE!

that is impressive, the zombie is particularly amazing because it is not done for rules (all zombies are the same, no equipment), but rather aesthetics alone!

I use the standard GW sculpting tool, craft knife and some clay shapers

now after foot nagging me on msn i've done some more work on the zombie brethren:




still quite alot left to do on him but its taking shape now

what do you guys think?

He's looking worse and worse - in a good and nasty way!

Love the Zombies!

I have yet to make one based on my friends' heroes, but then again I've never reanimated any of them. I have the spell, I put the heroes out of action, but they just never die. Perhaps modeling the heroes first will help tempt fate.

That's GREAT! I REALLY like the stake through the heart; the Possessed have a tendency to look undead, SO...it removes all doubt about his living impaired status. Keep up the FINE WORK!
