BTB Scenarios

At the moment our group play BTB amongst the three of us which is i know a small no. to be playing a campaign. Our biggest problem is that we are soon covering already played scenarios against the same opponents.Are there any other scenarios that you can suggest that can be easily adapted to fit within the BTB setting. We already played wyrdstone hunt twice each.

I think you can use pretty much whatever scenario you enjoy. Replace the Mordheim buildings with forest sections and you're good. There are not any real restrictions for playing scenarios in BTB. Just choose one and have fun.

Of course, other scenarios won't provide you with any additional Campaign Points but the rules for gaining CPs from the objectives themselves will suffice. And many of the original BTB scenarios don't provide additional CPs either. Maybe you can come up with a few modifications for how warbands can gain extra CPs in the scenarios. This will give players extra motivation.

I would recommend the Town Cryer scenarios The Caravan and Mule Train (TC #14). Both should fit with minimal fuss. Others include the Empire in Flames scenario "The Frenzied Mob" (which is similar to one of the BTB scenarios); there's also a Horse Thieves scenario on the specialist games site; Khemri's "Protect the Prince" and "Tomb Raid". More specialist games: "Wolf Hunt", "River Watch"; Nemesis Crown: "Flood Plain", "The Necromancer's Tower" and "The Eerie Downs". Albion's "Death in the Mists".

Thanks people, we played undead garden as a 3 way game on saturday, the skaven player didnt fare to well because of his low leadership and the fear rule but it was a walk-over for the maneaters and norse. In the end we decided that upon reaching 10 kills a team had to retire or the norse and maneaters would be playing still. We used the PP chart from BTB and the weather tables for Cathay, not a brill game but its one we know not to do again.

Did you have a look at the scenario list on Mordheimer?

I know people are always looking for new scenarios. In our games the basic BTB scenarios were enough - partly because we had to play them over and over again of course, but also because we had more different warbands involved - leading to more constellations. I can see how with only three warbands there is a need to get an increased variety at least though playing different scenarios.

If you come across any suitable scenarios, please let me know. I will happily add a list of additional scenarios suitable for BTB to the website.
