Experience and Advance Rolls

Hi folks. Used to play Warhammer 40k, but haven't found the time to really keep up the hobby in the last few years. I was interested in starting some fantasy action just before I sort of trailed off. So, I remembered Mordheim the other day through happenstance while thinking about modeling again, and decided to go looking for info on it. I'm surprised at how accessible the game is.

So, getting to the point, I was reading through the rulebook PDF (free rulebooks can really get you into a game!) and I've come across something that's really stumping me. On page 81 it starts to talk about experience points and advancement rolls.

Pg 81 wrote:

When the accumulated experience reaches a box that has thick borders, the warrior may make an Advance roll.

There's no chart or list of any kind with boxes or borders that I can find after reading/skimming through the rules that correlates exp to adv rolls. I've searched the net a bit as well, and I can't find any answers at all! I was hoping that you gentlefolk would be able to bring clarity to this- uhh... lack of information for me. Thanks!

On the roster sheets, your experience boxes are bolded when you reach a level. Heroes gain xp by completing scenario objectives and by taking enemy models Out of Action. Henchmen gain xp primarily by surviving a game and very, very rarely for scenario objectives. You can find some roster sheets with the xp boxes in Issue #3 of my zine Letters of the Damned, found further up in this forum (Stickied for your convinience).

Ah! It was in a completely different part of the specialty games site. Since they split up the rulebook into PDFs, you have to hunt and peck around for what you need.
