Hi friends!,Right this I hope will be the HQ tipe thingy for my 31st Penal Legion of the Imperial Guard.The Regiment is baist of the 13th Penal Legion or if you prefur The Last Chancers and many of my Officers and Sergeants are like the guys in Gav Throp's Last Chancer books,But right now I only have Lieutenant Grean (Lieutenant Green in the frist book) and I think I'l get the Colonel Schaeffer modle for my Senior Officer HQ I will convert him a bit but no't much he is a good squlpt as it is. And here are the Doctrines for the Regiment:

Hardened Fighters

Iron Discipline(No't too represent a noble man leading them but rather the bigist of the big pushong there men on with hatefull words and larg fists)

Sharpshooters(Hay if your in a Penal Legion your going too be fighting for your life shooting strait is whats going too save said life!)

Veterans(Too represent the hard as nails convicts)

Heavy Weapons Platoons(Thes guys are the tower guards for the Penal camp that have been forced in too the fighting by the Colonel)

Sweet I love the IG and especially the last chancers. However they are going to realease the new IG codex next month and it looks like htey took out the doctrines . However I look forward too see pics of your army. Eventually I'll get round to assembling my half Cadian half Catachan harden veterens squad and my Catachan Commisar, so many projects so little time.

Well whatever the case I still plan too use doctrines in conjunkshon with the new codex,I just hope I am not an old man by the time I get it.

ACTUALLY, The Monk part only refers to my living impaired social life. My Martial Art involves finding a sturdy table to hide beneath & making fierce animal sounds.

What minis are you going to use for the Chain Gang?

Well Grean is a Catachan Lieutenant with a Bolt Pistol And Chainsword for my other Lieutenant by the name of Kagin (Kage in the books,seen threw his eyes) I think I am going too use the Cadian Lieutenant with Chainsword and Bolt Pistol or if I can get him the Gressy Monky Last Chancer guy with Bolt Pisltol I will add a Chainsword on his back and as for the troops I think will use Cadian and Catachan bits if thats what your asking me?

I had started an Asphalt Jungle Freedom Fighter "army" that used a LOT of Catachan & Ork pieces. It was fun to work on & must have turned out fairly well since I was offer enough fo me to sell it off [I'm addicted to eating periodically ]. Have FUN with the project; it has a lot of potential.
