| Just wondering, if I have a skaven warrior who has 1A, and I give him fighting claws, he then goes to 2A. He gains exp and I give him AoSD and now its 3A. Then later he gets more exp and gains +1A on his skill roll to see what he has gained, so now its 4A. The question is, can I then get tail fighting for him, or is that not possible as skaven cannot exceed 4 attacks on their profiles? | |

| Almost all the attacks you mentioned are not increasing his profile - they are simply additional attacks he can get and do not count towards the racial maximum. The only one that counts is the +1 A he gains by advancing.
Thus, when the racial maximum is set at 4 attacks, this means that you can gain 3 attack advanced by gaining experience and rolling on the advancement table. The other attacks are additional, so with claws, AoSD, tail fighting, and a maxed out profile, a skaven can attack 7 times in CC.

| Hmm... Sorry for the off-topic, but Frenzy just gives a +1 A, doesn't it ? I think I saw it somewhere on an errata or an Q&A, am I right? | |

| Really? I didn't think this was ever changed.. I know they changed it for Warhammer but wasn't aware that this was also changed in Mordheim.. I'd look it up now if I wasn't too lazy.. | |

| Using the rulebook on the GW site frenzy: Frenzied warriors fight with double their attacks characteristic in hand-to-hand combat. Warriors with 1 attach therefor have 2 attacks, warriors with 2 attacks have 4, etc. If a warrior is carrying a weapon in each hand, he recieves +1 attack for this as normal. This extra attack is not doubled. | |

| I think this fix was suggested and often house ruled, but I never heard of it being official. Let's see what DaBank has to say | |

| If it is not in the rulebook PDF (which is uptodate with the Rules Review) or in the Rules Review itself (in case they forgot to fix it in the rulebook itself) then it is not official. Just as I thought. | |

| I always loved that it double attacks in Mordheim over Warhammer. You want Frenzy, you walk the streets of Mordheim! | |

| Attacks used to get doubled in Warhammer Fantasy. Then things were changed to stop certain characters having so many attacks. First approach was a system where the character started losing profile attacks if he failed a test but it was too much book keeping, so they went with a simple +1A for Frenzy.
Mordheim copes better with lots of Attacks because you rarely fight more than 3 opponents, rather than a character wiping out a regiment by himself because he doesn't have to be in contact with all the models.
Still, a lot of profile attacks and frenzy can make for a scary prospect in Mordheim. An old Norse Jarl of mine once got the Executioner's Hood and had A3 on his profile. That got very silly at times, for my opponent and myself due to the drawback of the item.
