Here is my pirate warband they run under the normal rules for pirates even though they look undead

Not all actually part of the starting warband but I have them painted ready to add more when I get the gc

The minotaur will eventually act as an ogre bodyguard

Hope you like them please send me comments

Nice looking War Band. I like your choice of minis; Reaper makes a fine skelly. Nicely painted & based, AND appropriately colorful. WELL DONE, Amigo!

VERY NICE!

As fellow Reaper Guy, I, obviously, like your choice of minis. The close ups show the lads off VERY well. You captured the Pirate fell nicely. VERY WELL DONE! thumbsup
BTW Reaper has started to offer a selection of their minis with in lead at a fairly substantial reduction in price [between $.50 to $2.50 per mini]. Beyond the $s thingy, I've always found the lead minis easier to work with, both for painting & conversion, AND lead has SUCH a satisfyingly weighty feel to it. cheers

The minis are very cool and your paintjob does them justice and conveys a very piratey feeling!

You might want to check out the Sartosa campaign, it includes rules for a Ghost Pirate crew.

I glanced at the Sartosa site and I noticed the Ghost Crew still needed playtesting. I was wondering how the Sartosa bands compared with the standard bands since the other players will be playing more standard groups.

Thanks
The bases were super easy they are actually just thin cardboard (cereal box) painted and then scored with a knife. Well except the last one that one was molded out of spackle.

You thief, I did the exact same thing for a warband idea, with the same models too (almost). I made my zombies from zombies and empire, and a maneater for a hired ogre, and a made myself a swivel gun from bits.

Very nice job, I even did my bases the same way. I gotta get some pictures up, but then I suppose since yours are here first, I'd be the thief then. Keep adding to it and you'll have a VC army like I am planning to.

I'd not thought to make bases that way. I'm totally ganking that idea. Awesome. I particularly like the first blondish one
