| Just a quick question concerning the use of Heavy armour and Shield in WHFB7th: I heard that in the current edition using the two armour pieces at the same time does not cause -1 penalty to Movement. Is it true? I checked the rulebook and couldn't find any references to that, maybe the answer is in the armybooks (Empire?)... I only own Ogres and Undead, and again no infos in those...
Please, let me know! Cheers!!! | |

| There is indeed no -1 Movement modifier for heavy armour and shield combined in WHFB, I hope this helped you | |

| It was phased out with the release of 6th Ed I believe. I think the only armour-based move penalty that applies now is from barding on mounts. | |

| Thank you very much, guys!!! Super fast reply!!! That question has been bugging my brain for too long... I don't really play WHFB (too big, too many minies) but got the rules in the BfSP boxed set, full of useful and convertible stunties and green gits for Mordheim at a fair price, so i took time to read the rules for possible inspiration in house ruling and such. Much appreciated help, i bow!!! Cheers!!! | |

| Funny - I began WHFB during the 6th edition - I didn't even know that rule had existed before then. Interesting. Boy, that would certainly drag some armies (cough, cough, dwarves), down to a crawl. | |

| Well I don't think it ever eally was a rule in warhammer, but more like the Morheim rule, so Dwarfs wouldn't be affected probably (or at least I would have hoped so) | |

| Correct, Dwarves had a rule ignoring that penalty. | |
