Thanks for the feedback,Wyldhunt. I'll check out your rules mods and campaign ideas. Haven't really done much with the Nemesis Crown supplement, yet.

They wouldn't let me play in the "The Warpstone Belongs to Us" campaign. Some rubbish about wanting to play more than one week a year. Bah! However, I did have a chance to abuse the three warbands that went through the campaign:

...and there's a lot of light to see from your rules, Asp. I'll repeat this more - your work was one of the reasons I was able to play Mordheim again.

Let me ask, are you saying:



All Warbands HAVE TO start with 5 Heroes. (or)

All Warbands CAN ONLY start with 5 Heroes. (or)

All WarBands CAN start with 5 Heroes, if player chooses to.

Yes... I can't think of any reason to take fewer than the maximum allowed heroes, unless you are playing a one-off game.... which misses half the fun of Mordheim.

All warbands have exactly 5 heroes to choose from, and may only start with a maximum of 5 heroes - they may start with fewer if they choose to.

On the first iteration of this, we left 6 hero choices in for the warbands which originally had 6 to choose from, but we quickly saw that the champion-class hero was always chosen over the youngblood-class hero, so for warbands like Skaven and Bretonnian, we nixed the extra youngblood-class hero. Doing so helped clear up confusion in the rules set.
