Which makes sense, as it fell down after about 30 years (some twerp built in on wood and clay foundations designed for a summer house).

Reminds me of the Tower of Isengard from The Lord of the RIngs. I know I'd seen a pic of that from a games day or some such - the bloody thing was TALL. Very cool pic, Chad.

Their's some great history behind it, too: the owner sold an entire village (and much more) to build it, he then had the dining table laid for twelve every evening for 30 years - but always ate alone (except once, when Nelson and Hamilton visited him) and sent excess food back to the kitchen. Sort of makes Howard Hughes look like a tight-pursed rational. Wink

Wow! Is it of a particular building? It sort of looks like st. Paul's, but only the dome. And I'm pretty sure that their are no building's like that in Liverpool...
