| Thanks Ashton! On the ladders: I make the ladders out of fireplace matches [the long, sturdy ones]. I rough them up with my razor saw, drawing the blade with the grain of the wood to emphaisize the grain, cut the sides to height & the rungs about 25mm in length. Next I glue the top & bottom rungs making sure the ladder will stand straight.; then glue the rest of the rungs [I use Plastic Surgery , a type of Crazy Glue made for plastic that works great on wood]. When dry I drill holes in each rung [#60 drill bit] & glue in head pins [jewelry pins from Michael's]. Viola a ladder ready to be painted.
