| Should you have barricades, like the ones used for wh40k city fights, in mordheim too? Or should the streets be clear? | |

| We have a few barricades in our collection. I don't think the streets should be clear at all - quite the opposite in fact: They should be strewn with broken carts, fish, empty barrels, rotting market stalls, smashed crates, shattered doors, rats, piles of furniture, bonfires, braziers, hangman's scaffolds, pillories, frogs, dead bodies, grim trophies and dropped weapons. And that's the tidy areas! I think our table looks a bit too empty at street level!

| We throw down barricades ourselves: debris, scratch-built barricades with spears or spikes sticking out of them, fences, stuff like that. The more cluttered the city, the better the game I feel. | |

| Oh yes! Barricades belong.
The old TCs used to have them in it and barricades add alot to the game both for looks and strategy.

| Brricades definately add to the chaos where fights would have broken out and random defences erected.
That and over time people would have built them up to defend areas form attacks etc. _________________

| Oh absolutely. Many a good battle can be had over an essential barricade dividing a large central street. I remember well unleasing my hounds upon some reiklanders I believe it was. Arrows flying trying to strike the beasts down before they leapt over the flimsy, rotten wood and debris, teeth snapping for blood. Hell, the fight lasted a couple rounds, eventually drawing in about a third of each of our warbands into the action. | |

| Our best Barrier monent wasn't the fight, but the setup. We'd placed a long Castle wall running across the board. While placing other terrain, one person thought it would be unfair to have someone get on the wall, and have an uninterrupted run from one side of the table to the other (not to mention the Shooting advantage of the wall height). So... he placed 2 barricades on the wall... forcing climb checks to travel the length of the wall. Barricades on long stretchs of wall are now almost a tradition... | |

| Sure.
Barricades, boxes, barrels, broken doors, broken tables, chairs, and anything imaginable.
They made for better games, otherwise, missile armed bands will rule, as nobody will get cover.
Hope that helps. | |

| I also use a lot of walls, barrels, hedges ect. A simple sollution is to use the walls and hedges set from GW. | |

Thats a costly option though for some barricades you can make in 2-3 minutes and for almost free. I don't think hedges work in Mordheim personally unless their on top of small walls etc, but thats just my opinion. _________________

| I picked up that whole Nemesis Crown building collection a while back (Tower, Manor, and Church). Came with more fences (of various sizes) then any one table can possibly hold - so I use lots of those myself. | |
