Incomplete Blisters?

Ok, I decided to open up a few blisters, as my son needed some models to complete his warband. He hired an Ogre Bodyguard, and wanted something different. I had a few blisters so I opend up the one that had the axe and mace/club. Well, checking out the pieces, I then realized my horror! Both of the arms were LEFT ARMS!!!

Uh, so now what? I opened up another blister to get a right arm, but still, I have one extra left arm, and missing one right arm.

Take it back to the store you got it from to trade it up, or if that isn't an option call GW and say your blister was missing a piece see if they will send it to you.

Agreed, and I had that happened when I got the 25th Anniversery box of the Orcs.

Hehe only mistake i've had with boxes was a double up on the dwarves in the BFSP big box - didn't call and complain about that..

GW is pretty generous with sending out missing parts. You only write to them and tell them what is wrong and they send you the right parts.

(It might be harder to complain about doubles in the package though )

They sent me a Tree-Kin with two left arms, when I phoned up they sent a whole new blister. But don't ogre bodyguards come with both arms holding a double-handed-axe? Crap, maybe my ogre had parts missing!


EDIT: tell them you need it for a big tournament/urgent playtesting and they get lots more cooperative. (Yes, I've had to phone them about missing parts on more than one occasion.)

This was the Golfag's Ogre Blister, not the Ogre Bodyguard one. Ye,s my Ogre Bodyguard Mordheim blister is correct, with doublehanded axe.

Phew. Good luck with that 'important tournament'.

Ok, sent email, and the reply back was (in paraphrased format) - Too bad, we don't carry that model anymore to replace the parts. Thanks!

So, I replied back asking if I could return the blister with all parts and receive a replacement instead. No reply...

So I called the customer service number, and they said they tried looking for a spare part, but no luck. After talking about where the arm joined, and it either being sleeveless or with armor, they said they would send out a replacement arm. That arm then turned into them stating they will send out a full replacement ogre! Woohoo!
