| So here's the first one I built, time will tell whether or not more scenery will come out of my workshop but if it does it'll all appear here... Just needs a bit of static grass on the roof to finish it off really More angles as per usual: - Spoiler:
Skavens woz 'ere Angle that shows the wonky roof, oops! Also "Sigmar be prai..." Someone got nailed here Then dragged themself along To the point where they died (presumably the body's been eaten/raised) Botch stalks through the ruins... ...little does he know that Botch is waiting for him! (both my Mordheim and DnD characters are called Botch! One's a Clan Pestilens plague priest while the other's a goblin rogue who's about to take a few levels in warlock)

| This looks extremely great, Jack! I like it a lot! It has a certain realistic and dirty feel to it. Fits Mordheim perfectly. I hope to see more buildings by you! | |

| Good work. I like well selected colours of the building , the ruined inside and the plant on the wall. | |

| Man, it looks... different from another buildings here. It looks so dark, it isn't another nice building. It's a really dark ruin. | |

| Wow, that's one of the worst home renovations I've ever seen! But one of the finest Mordheim buildings. Very nice! | |

| I particularly like the thin walls. Very much to scale for this type of building. Foamcore would have lookd too fat and chunky | |

| Again thanks for the new comments! I still haven't glued on any more static grass to the roof, I'm saving that for when I actually need to get the brushes out again (so not for a while) I tend to work on my minis in batches, I'll do a whole load of conversions then spray and paint them when they're finished. So yeah the building won't properly be finished finished until I get round to painting the minis I'm currently converting/building... | |

Anyway, It really lloks great!
Can you tell us how did you paint the scorched walls?
Thanks. | |

| errr let's think...if I remember rightly I started off by just painting on a mixture of devlan mud and some black acrylic to where I thought it should go at the tops of each panel and coming down the edges of the timber, then I kept adding more and more black to the mix and using dryer and dryer brushes to build up the effect. I used quite a thick brush as well to get the 'many-lines' effect (not a citadel one). To be honest I normally just go with what I'm feeling at the time so my tutorials are gonna be seriously lacking due to problems with recollection! Thanks very much for asking though mate! | |

| Hehe I know the feeling on that one. Either way its a sweeeet broken, worn out stucutto(sp?) feel to it. | |

| "I'll get my coat" It may be the way you've textured the cut ends, looks awesome. I like the roof tiles as well. Another picture copied to my 'inspiration' folder. | |
