Well as the title says this is a quiz competition that everyone in the forum is welcome to join in.

Here are the rules;

All questions must be;

- From a games-workshop product (eg. Warhammer, Mordheim, Inquisitor ect)
- Must be a person, place or thing (a character. a capital City/famour battle ground. weapon/armour/talisman ect)

After someone successfuly answers the question. The person who posted it will confirm they are correct. Then that person will ask a question and it will continue from there.

So I will start it off with this one;

What is the name and title of Nagash's chief lieutenant?

If you have any questions (besides the answers Razz) feel free to post them and I will get back to you asap.

Alright then, here we go...

I'm looking for the name of a certain type of mount, which can be ridden by various races such as Skinks, Hobgoblins, Dark Elves, certain humans. A hint: These animals "resemble nothing so much as a cross between a giant pikenese and a lion."

Happy guessing!

EDIT: What? I sound harsh sometimes? Ey! Crying or Very sad

Could it be a manticore...I first thought cold ones, then I read your example Razz

The new manticores look more like the dog, though the older ones (with scorpion tails) looked like lions.

Nope.

(Although I like the thought of Dark Elves riding the giant Boars)

Neither.

This is a really old and mystic creature, nearly forgotten, so it might be necessary that you dust off some of your most ancient books and look it up in the bestiary. Good luck, scribes!

EDIT: Although I have seen one of them ridden by a Skink recently on ebay I'm not sure they were ever officially sold like that. Dark Elves, Hobgoblins and some humans can definately be found riding them, though.

Ah I see you know a bit. If we are going back that far...how bout a Cockatrice?

If not it would have to be a chimera but I would disagree with that as chimera's dont have a fixed form (lots of random animals fused together). But if it isnt either of those, I'm in trouble.

Nah, I didn't want to make it that hard. 3rd edition it is. I'll reveal it tomorrow.

EDIT: Another hint: The creature is going to make a return in the Border Town Burning supplement, where it will be one of the roaming monsters that can appear through random encounters.
