| Well, I was born in Kaliningrad (modern day Konigsberg) and althoug I live in israel now for the past 11 years (left the old country as a 7 year old) I still care about the mother land..which is why I dedicate my first attempt at building ships to Kislev -
The Oriol (Eagle) - W.I.P

I know it's probably has some problems, but I'm really sutisfied with it.
Now I just need to order some militia box and convert them into the crew. _________________ Vorror's Mordheim Blog at Blogspot

| Nice! Is it made of cardboard? You should try to make the mainsail out of a piece of fabric that you soak in a mix of 50/50 water/PVA. The texture looks more real then.
Cheers! _________________

| Just a couple of notes,
I work with cardboard for two reasons:
It's really easy to find some, while other materials is harder to find (espacially in Israel)
It's really magical when the cardboard box turns into a chaos-lab/clock tower/ship _________________ Vorror's Mordheim Blog at Blogspot |

| Set sail, mates! The Eagle is about to leave!
The symbol on the sail is the flag of the Imperial Russian navy and the insgina of the modern nave of Russian Fedeartion.
It's similar to the flag of Scotland (reverse the colors) , because it's the cross of St. Andrew, the patron saint of both the highlands and of Rus.
The word in russian means - Eagle, a name which belonged to a real russian ship, found the story in Wikipedia.

| I'm going to make another ship, probably smaller to acompany that one, just for practice.
Probably going to name her Lynsk, after the river.
I've also have to make a scratch-build cannon or two. _________________ Vorror's Mordheim Blog at Blogspot |

| We have a country-wide community, from the south to the north...and we have convention from time to time, it's really easy to meet all of them since the country is as big as a everge european city ^_^
Some local stores support the hobby, used to have some company which brought GW products to Israel, now it's only Warmachine, but's that's also nice. _________________ Vorror's Mordheim Blog at Blogspot |

I've found the concept of dwarves, which usually leave underground and when travel by sea use submarines (which makes it "undersea" travel) very cool.
Next ship is going to be build for my 6 year old sister, which is by far the biggest fan of my work
She asked me to paint a rainbow on the sail, guess it's still can be used as a high elf ship _________________ Vorror's Mordheim Blog at Blogspot |
