| Do you know that? You are working on somthing and your mind begins to wander? And you stare at that piece of paper, but your thoughs are lightyears away? Like, for example in Mordheim? Usually that's when you start scribbling nonsense somwhere in the corner of your notepad.
Well, today I had one of these moments (again) and I had an idea for a new building. So I quickly jotted it down. It's just a little idea I thought you might like, so I decided to share it.
I don't know if I will really start the construction of that thing, but I though if not, maybe it can inspire some of you guys.
One never knows. And besides, sharing is never wrong... or is it?

| Looks nice to me. Just wondering, if you're in the UK now, won't it be difficult to build such a big house there and then having to take it home? I'd hate to have it demolished on the way...
Oh, and I just have to say that your "side" looks like "sick", which got me really confused at first _________________

| Haha!
Sorry, my handwriting is really sloppy sometimes
No, if I build this thing I would do it back home. I don't have the material and the time to do it here. Plus, you are right, I would not want it to break during the trip. |

| That is quite a sweet sketch. I like it a lot. Almost all of the buildings I have made so far (... all 3) are 2 story buildings... I need to put together the plans for a 3-5 story building. Something with a lot of character. Like this one.
Thanks for the idea. _________________ -Ashton Sanders -Mordheim in Montana Blog |

| As people have said, the sketch is great!
I'm looking forward to starting to build my table, will really depend on how much space I have in the new flat how adventurous it is This is some brilliant inspiration though! Can't wait to see you build it! _________________ The AmmoBunker A friendly forum for modellers of all kinds! |

| This is a really cool looking building. I decided last night that I would try to make something like it (probably with a bit more playing surface: i.e. a walkway or two and a flat area where the hole in the wall is.) I've drawn up some plans for it with measurements (scaled down and not to scale - does this make sense?) that I'll use to cut up some foamboard. If i get around to building it I'll post a pic or a WIP on this forum.
I actually built (or am building) my first piece of scenery for about 8-9 months today.. Just a 3 storey building with overhanging stories. Still got to glue most of it together and stick some balsa slats on it and zazz up the windows and doors. I've pretty much cut the pieces out and am currently gluing the floors to the respective walls. Will try and post pics of this too if I get around to it (any maybe some of my other scenery).
Well this probably didn't make sense. I kinda went off rambling and talking dribble.
Back to the point. Great sketch Tom and I'll try and emulate it and post a pic!
Cheers ~ Steve |
