| heya!
me and my dad are going to make a castel for my warhammer/mordheim/40K/lotr, etc, so we first started to draw and stuff. When we got the sizes, I made this 3D sample in like, 20 minutes. 
these are gonna be the 'solid layers', and the details (like the giant arcitecture the right wall will get) will be added on the real model only. this sample was mostly meant for checking how big the walls should be.
table =
100 x 50
castle =
55 high
40 wide
40 long
it will be build on a hill, and there will come another tower with a wall between the towers on the left. the far left tower will be a dobble tower.
the terrain behind the wall will be a pass, while the castle itself will be lying on a steep hill. behind some of the towers, there will be mountain, rock, and rubble.

hehe, i think the towers will suffer the most, and the wall at the pass while be properly like blown up (ugh ugh* helmsdeep *ugh ugh) the rest we'll see =)

I like castles alot and if you made a 3d renderind it means that is a very serious project!  |

| hahah LOL yes it is quite good but why don't you make Helmsdeep then, I mean It is almost the same but a bit more round shaped..
