| Finally bought the Citadel Chapel, and my original idea was to chop it to bits and use them on homemade Mordheim buildings, but when I saw the piece I just had to put it together! It's so damn good! There also quite alot of extra bits too.
Since I play WItch Hunters, I also figured the chapel would fit as a "base" for my warband. Im planning to decorate it with chopped off heads of heretics and so on.
Any of you had success using the chapel with your homemade buildings? Any pictures? Im just afraid it will look out of place cause it's so detailed compared to what I make. I did not use any of the extra bits on it to keep it simple. (And I could use these leftover bits on homemade stuff to improve detail)
Problem number 2: I have never painted a building. I want to use dark Mordheimish colors like greens, browns, reds and such. Anyone have any tips or tutorials on how to make buildings look good? What colors would work? How would I go about the paint process?
Too many ideas and plans and too little skill XD
Thanks for your time |

| Hey Skrekkugle!
You will certainly find a lot of inspiration and help for painting your buildings if you browse the "Scenery and terrain" and "Gallery" sections a little.
I do not own the chapel, but there are some posts by "Rich" I think (in the Gallery) and he made a very successful mix of plastic WH buildings and self built foamcore stuff a long time ago. _________________

| I've never heard of it (I may have seen it and just not known the name).
Can you post some pics of what you got?
I had that exact same problem about wall colors... honestly as long as it's not too bright, it'll come out fine... (in hind site, I made my dice tower too bright, but it still fits in pretty well.)

| Thanks! I'll check it out Tom
Ashton: Here you can find the Chapel aswell as a few other very high quality buildings. If I was made of gold I would just buy a bunch of each and convert until my fingers broke :p But it's cool to make stuff yourself too ofc.
Also bought the Wood so I can use the tree trunks for stuff. As a bonus this package comes with a few signs and chained skulls that will do nicely in a Mordheim setting too
Can't wait to get started on buildings, but I still have to finish the cobblestones. Spent over 2 hours on it today and I haven't even covered 1/4 yet XD |

| Thanks for the link.
Yea, it's definitely time consuming.
I can't wait to see how you do. Good luck. _________________ -Ashton Sanders -Mordheim in Montana Blog |
