I really like it.
I also really like you warband captain.
You should try to apply some shading to your minis when you paint them. You will get much more "depth" if you use successive layers of paint, each lighter than the previous (for a start, 3 layers should do). For the weapons I would recommend drybrushing them with a rusty colour (tin bitz) followed by a metallic colour (boltgun metal/mithril silver). That is quick and painless and gives a very realistic result 
Have fun and don't forget to post the rest of you painted warband!
