| Following on from a previous post on this forum, here are some pictures (there will be more to come!) of the Warband's members.

And what I've got to paint - note that the musketeer's been fully painted since I took this and he is no longer hiding under an all-black undercoat.

| Why those colours? Because the state colours of Ostmark are, according to the 4th (or is it 5th) edition Army Book, purple and yellow. Except that looks rubbish, and the purple dye - according to the book - often came out red or blue as that was cheaper and easier to make. Hence the City Watch in red and yellow.
A few more to paint, but here's some pics in the meantime:

Warriors - two more to make and paint, three if you count the other Watch-Corporal that I want:

| On the skin and on the yellow I used Flesh Wash, as follows:
Skin:
Paint Bronzed Flesh.
Flesh Wash.
Paint raised areas Bronzed Flesh again.
Highlight with Bleached Bone.
Done!
Yellow:
Paint Golden Yellow (yes, over black).
Wash with watered down FW.
Paint Golden Yellow again.
Highlight with Sunburst Yellow.
HIghlight with Bad Moon Yellow.
Done!
Simple and it gives a really nice sharp, clean effect that I like. |

| very nice, there's some nice detail on the faces. on some of the shields, the detail for the easgle is a little hard to make out. it may just be the pic, but t alight drybrush with a dark grey or a highlight of the edges may bring the detail out more.
they'd look really good on the table top!! well done. |
