| Can we get a side shot of the second option? I can't actually see the arm, (just the fingers?)
At first it looked like he didn't have an arm. _________________ -Ashton Sanders -Mordheim in Montana Blog |

| Awesome work man, I love your conversions. I can't wait to see those dregs painted up. May I ask where you got the head from on your 3rd dreg, the one who aint right in the head . Your witch hunters are cool too, I can't even tell what they're made up of. I'm guessing it's mostly brettonian bits, but I'd love to know how you converted them. |

| Thanks everyone
@Jacky-Boy The 3rd dregs head is from the corpse cart kit, it was on a rope but i cut it off then used green stuff for the hair. The Which hunters are mostly Brettonian bits like you said, with some empire miilita arms and heads on some of them. then using some green stuff for the hoods and on the warrior priest i filled in the legs/cloaky thing with green stuff to make a robe. hope that helps
thanks again everyone. im going to start painting the skellies tonight, so updates will be sometime this weekend

The way you made him makes him fit nicely within the theme of your warband.

| That was an interesting read/expeience. It started with some nicely done pieces and the quality of your work just kept getting better & better with each successive photo. It was really enjoyable watching your talent blossom. Thanks for sharing. BTW how's the loony with the chain saw coming; that was one imaginative piece. |

| EUREKA, I'VE FOUND IT!
The one hang-up I've always had about Mordheim was the re-equipping thingy: i.e., as a warband acquires more disposable wealth, they can opt for better weaponry, armor, et all. I saw this as having to repaint, & I hate repainting minis. Wandering my way through the Gallery, gazing at all the beautifully imaginative minis, it hit me: don't redo the original mini, do up a New one. What a concept! Of course, you all have probably come up with this idea immediately, but at my age everything takes a bit longer. This means I have an excuse, er,...Justification for acquiring yet More minis. OH HAPPY DAYS!
Back on subject: I picked up a few of Wyrd Minis awhile back; two of them, the Morgue Master McMorninig & his Assistant, I'm going to do up as the Mad Scientist that your cool conversion inspired. If the exorcism on my camera is successful, I post a pic of the lads. My thought is to use them in an Undead warband, or maybe Possessed. |

| I'm back!
lol sorry for the long brake, have just been trying to finish other stuff off.
Right i'm back to my undead warband, i used a black background to try and suit their look a bit better, but not sure if it worked. anyway enough typing and on to the pics.

C&C always welcome

| OMG I <3 that paint job! (no I'm not going to marry it)
But seriously, It's the freaking skeletons in the moonlight! I absolutely love it. If the moon wasn't out it would just be captain Barbosa, and his crew great work man, I absolutely love what you did here!
Oh, and are you counting them as zombies? I forgot. _________________ -Ashton Sanders -Mordheim in Montana Blog |

That's it precisely. You managed to capture the mood of the Living Impaired exactly: spooky, ethereal, truly super-natural. WELL DONE! Ray Harryhausen (sp) would be proud of you! |

| thanks for the great comments everyone it's comments like these that have helped me get better at painting and put my confidence in painting to try new things.
@Aston Indeed the Skellies are being used as Zombies
Right time for another update and my first try at source lighting, i think it came out alright for my first try. So heres some pics of my dregs and mr zombie ogre.

I took two pics of the guy with fire, the one with the white background seems more what it looks like in person.

So what you think? Next up is the Vampire and Necromancer(who will have a lighting effect aswell)
C&C always welcome as normal

| Dramatic & Theatrical spring to mind as a description. The light sourcing turned out great; it really adds to the spooky feel of the band [somewhere in the background you can hear some B Horror flick music of the BOO-AAH-AHH variety]. Excellent piece of work, you've raised the bar for all of us, YOU DIRTY RAT [only kidding about the "dirty rat", kind of].
WELL DONE! Now get back to work. |

| These really do feel like they're skulking around after dark down the ruined streets of Mordheim.
The torch light was a gigantic success. |
