Inspiration!

Hey guys!

Here's a thought... How about a thread that serves as a well of instpiration? If you come accross ANYTHING on the web that inspires you for Mordheim scenery (because of its mood, its colors, whatever) you can post it here!

Its always nice to have a pool of images from which you can draw ideas for your modelling needs.

I found a few things while surfing the net. One of these will interest Cianty in particular Wink

As I am currently working on a Cathayan tower inspired by the Yellow Crane Tower (China) - as you all already know, I know - I thought I'd upload a pic of it.

By the way, I really like the idea of this thread. Great idea.

These pics are AMAZING! I am in awe, really. And I will definitly use them as inspiration. Whoever drew these is a wizard with the pencil: everything is just so perfect! (a true professional).

You all REALLY have to check out some of the screenshots from the new XBOX 360 game called Assassin's Creed. Simply stunning! Here is a link to a site with screenshots:

You really have to check this out, and my apologies if it sounds like I am advertising for the game. I don't own a 360, so I can't play it. The scenary and mapping is fantastic. See these examples:

Yeah I have heard about that game. It was made by the Ubisoft Montreal team that also made the "Prince of Persia" Trilogy (PoP:The Sands of Time, PoP: Warrior Within, PoP: The two Thrones) which I really loved.

I do not own a console either, but these games had a really awesome level design (played them on PC with controller) and a fantastic mood.
