Not to mention the current issue of the KulturSPIEGEL (a magazine probably known to German-speakers only) features an article about the head designer of the game Jade Raymond - a gorgeous female computer geek. What's not to love?

Inside the mag she is described as something like the new superstar of the scene (if I remember right).

Seems so. But certainly not here where I study... But that's another story. Let's get back on topic... hmm, some of those chicks might indeed inspire me... talking Spawn of Chaos conversion. JOKING! Ok, forget it. silent

Anyway, let's not forget that painting whole regiments is a pain in the ass.

This is my only reason I never even bothered looking at warhammer fantasy or 40k. To many freaking models, and mass painting is not for me.

I love how Mordheim is just enough models to have a color scheme, but not to many that you can't make each one look bad ass.

@WarbossKurgan: Those Inn's are AWESOME! hahahah lol!

PostSubject: dice tower   Fri 28 Dec 2007 - 23:40

Hey guys,

Here's a great idea i found:

(picture from Board Game Geek)

This is a dice tower. You put the dice in the top, they get rolled around inside the tower, and spit out into the "court yard" as well-rolled dice.

This solves the problem of dice flying around/off the table, and landing askew on terrain.

The collest part is making it a piece of terrain that you use on your mordheim board!

muahhaahh If anyone beats me to making this, post pics so we can see!!

Double post! links not working this time...
Here we have a German website with the best terrain I have ever seen! It is flash so I can only provide a link, trust me the loading time is worth it!

and the WIP shots:

If someone can figure out what material the stone walls are made with I would love them for ever! It is either textured plastic, foam with lines drawn on, or hand sculpted clay... I just can't tell from the pics.

This has already been posted Smile
Fixed the link.

The stuff is called Selitron, and somewhere on the page (gidian-gelände.de) there is a tutorial how to build the walls, though I fear it's in German.

Thank you Erkwin, I must try to get some since i cant find single-sided foamboard.

If you guys have not seen the Mordheim terrain on The Necromundicon you really should check it out. Great ideas with the elevated platforms. I'm not sure about christmas village for houses, they look great but the weight...

I'm pretty sure I've seen this in here... but just in case:

Great Warhammer (or non-destroyed Mordheim) buildings:
http://uk.games-workshop.com/empire/empire-buildings/1/

Definitely a lot of inspiration in there.
